St Devenick’s ministry with children and young people has had to adapt to the current situation but we are still meeting actively. We always welcome new children and families.

Sunday Club meets in the church hall each Sunday during term time at the same time as the morning service in church (10.30am), apart from the first Sunday of the month when we all meet together in church for the Family Service.
There are two groups:
Sunday Starters is for the younger children, who can start Sunday Club when they begin pre-school, from about 3 to 7 or 8 years’ old.
Sunday Seekers is for the older children, from 7 or 8 up to 9 years’ old, when they can join Middle Church.
Usually we start with some shared time with both groups, before dividing for age-appropriate activities: exploring the Bible together through storytelling, games, craft, baking, science, construction, role play and outdoor activities.
Every Sunday when the children meet separately, they go into the church at approximately 11.30am to join the congregation. If it is a Communion Sunday, children may receive communion if their parents wish them to.
