Who We Are

Paul smiling in front of church

St Devenick's is a very friendly and welcoming Episcopal church made up of ordinary people of all ages and from many different backgrounds. We meet in the heart of our community, to worship God, to hear from Him and to enjoy being together as a church family. We try to make Jesus Christ the centre of all that we do.

What We Do

Childrens' activity in the church

We meet together regularly for services and we have programmes for children of all ages and for young people. We have housegroups, which are smaller groups where we can get to know each other better in a relaxed and informal setting, and we hold community events and take regular services and assemblies in local care homes and schools.

About

St Devenick's started in late Victorian times when this area of Aberdeen was expanding rapidly as a residential suburb. St Devenick lived locally in the 9th century and his vision to share the message of the love of Jesus Christ with local people has been central to the church's mission throughout its history, and remains so today.
